McCravy hired as new Football Offensive Coordinator

Coach Ritter and the Russellville Football Program are proud to announce the hiring of Kevin McCravy as the new QB Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the 2023 season.

Coach McCravy comes to RHS from Decatur High School where he spent the last 12 years and the last 5 as the Offensive Coordinator for the Red Raiders. Under Coach McCravy’s leadership the 2022 Red Raider Offense averaged 36 points per game in one of the toughest regions in Alabama. At Decatur in 2022, Coach McCravy’s QB set school records for passing yards and touchdowns and he had a WR set the school record for receiving yards for two consecutive seasons.

Coach McCravy brings 15 years of High School experience and 1 year of collegiate experience to Russellville.

Retired Decatur Head Coach Jere Adcock said “ Kevin is the most organized coach he has ever worked with, a strong coach, a great teacher of the game, and a solid Person’'.

Florence Head Coach Kenny Morson described Kevin as a “solid and knowledgeable coach, outstanding man, and loyal coach and friend”.
